Instead of directly teaching students what to do, I tend to let the students explore Chinese themselves. I will expose students to as much Chinese as possible. even if they don't know Chinese at all, they can still learn simple classroom commands. first I will teach students some simple phrases through classroom activity, making sure they use them as soon as possible. I will involve games and role-playing in the teaching to make the students feel less passive and encouraged. for further study, I will introduce Chinese culture and bridge a gap between cultures. I will use multimedia to enrich my teaching. by using television, film, and broadcasts they will get a hint of how language flows, how gesture is used, and how native speaker process language. I am confident and passionate to tutor Chinese.
