my lessons will begin with a fun 'did you know' session where I will tell them facts that will blow their minds. once they are interested and engaged I will slowly steer them toward the topic and begin with an introduction. if there are any experiments mentioned then after I am done explaining, I will either demonstrate the said experiments or play them a specific video of it. this will help the child to remember it forever. I will keep checking in if the students are understanding all the concepts or if there are any confusions. after I am done with the session we will take five minutes to review the class, how I thought them, what more they want to see related to the chapter, and what expectations I have of them considering the chapter.
