In order for me to present a valuable and effective lesson, I request prior notice on the topics the student wishes to address. If there are specific areas of concern for the student, I will pay attention to those issues in particular.

My lessons are highly flexible based on the needs of the student. I tend to let the student determine the speed of learning as my ultimate goal is to provide a valuable learning experience to them.

The lessons are interactive and frequently feature practical real-life examples. I lead with theoretical knowledge first, and then tie it back to simple explanations. Wherever relevant, examples and practice questions will be included. The student will be given a chance to address the issue, and as part of the debrief, I will take them through the thought process applied to get to the answer.

I am currently employed full-time in a management position within the audit and accounting profession which takes up my weekdays. However, I have taught accounting in the past few years and do not get to do it as often as I would like in my current role.
