Bilingual Performing Arts graduate currently working in Post-Production.
I have a BA in History, Theory & Politics of Film & Theatre in my second language. My passion for the Arts and my bilingualism will make up for inexperience in tutoring.
My lessons are structured, but follow a more laid-back approach.
I encourage a more dialogue-driven class, allowing the student and myself to discuss the topic at hand in a conversational manner.
Classes will include (offered in both French and English):
-Reading through scripts, poetry and formal letters out loud to practice your oral skills and intonation.
-Imagery analysis through bullet-points which will allow you to think and translate on the spot, improving your descriptive vocabulary.
-Written lessons and dictations.
-Watching clips of certain scenes from plays or films, then discussing them together and/or writing a summary of the scene watched.
Perfect for film, television and theatre lovers who are eager to discuss them in another language.
Classes are remote only, evenings and week-ends.
