I prioritise understanding students personal goals, allowing me to structure lessons accordingly. I assess students current proficiency, identifying challenging areas as well as the improvement and support required to reach their goals, are integral steps in my approach.

My teaching methodology revolves around ensuring a solid grasp of the content initially, followed by strategies for memorisation and consolidation which are essential elements for success in GCSE Biology and Chemistry. Additionally, I give lots of time and focus towards exam technique so that students can get used to the types of questions that will come up in exams. This also helps student to understand how to approach questions as well as be able to answer questions confidently.
