Lessons will generally follow a format of:

1. Teaching concepts- lots of diagrams! I encourage students to take rough notes while I explain concepts visually and verbally. However, I will also email a copy of the notes used in the session to the student after the session.

2. Testing your retrieval of basic knowledge- at the end of the session and importantly, as we're going along! I will ask basic questions to test your understanding of the concepts I have explained.

3. Application of knowledge in context- either at the end of a session or as a separate session entirely. I will ask you exam style questions to test whether you are able to apply your knowledge. Don't worry if you struggle here, most students do. I will be able to provide you with some top tips and techniques when approaching exam questions.
