Sumangalya Shanmugalingam

As a computer science teacher I’m responsible for instructing computer science to students at high school level. I responsible in guiding and assisting students in their entire learning experience, including welcoming them to the class. One of my role is to prepare the curriculum and presenting the materials in class. I also need to track attendance, assigning homework, grading assignments, giving feedback and communicating effectively with students at all levels of technologies understanding. As a computer science teacher I need to teach students how to write different types of programming language, such as Python, JavaScript, HTML and CSS.

I change my teaching strategies according to the learner, according to their level of understanding. I have been teaching GCSE Computer Science with OCR for five years now. I have attended many of their courses.
