I have over four years of tutoring experience, offering personalised 1-1 tutoring lessons. My lessons are engaging, productive and tailored to your learning style, so that you can make the most out of them. In lessons, we will cover content and then apply this knowledge onto practise exam papers. I like to regularly test my students to identify weakpoints and improve in these areas. My lessons can be varied lengths. For younger students, parents prefer 1 hour lessons, whereas students closer to their exam may prefer lessons 2- 2.5 hours long (whatever suits you the best). All my lessons are 1-1, as students feel more comfortable in this environment and it also allows me to give them my full attention. I also give my students homework, which will be emailed to them/ parents. The homework tends to be practise exam questions relevant to the content we cover in lessons, to allow students to consolidate on their knowledge. For 11+ students, I offer full mock exams too, at no extra cost, which will better prepare the child for their exam. For GCSE Students, we will constantly be looking at past papers and practise questions. In my four years of tutoring, all of my students have passed their exams, with 90% of my GCSE students achieving a grade 7-9, going above and beyond their target grades. My 11+ students do very well in their exams, achieving the top marks.
