I would teach my students according to their course needs and examinations and prepare them thoroughly for it. Most of my sessions will be explaining the basics of how to do particular math and questions, and I will give the children to do sample questions which they will have to do it on their own if there are any problems, I'll explain them again. I believe knowing the basics of maths clears up the confusion for difficult problems like trigonometry and linear algebra.
