With my lessons, we start with a series of simple questions to help get the child/ children ready for the upcoming lesson. We then choose a topic in their curriculum where we start off with easier topics to help me understand their ability. If they don’t understand the easier topics, I would help them using Methods i was taught when I was in online learning. These methods include showing different methods of working out and simplifying down the maths. If the student understands the easier topics, we can progress to the harder topics and hopefully make it enjoyable. Every 6 lessons, an exam would take place to see the child’s improvement. Overall, I like to see my students smile when learning maths as it is very fun!
