I am in my second year of teaching students of all ages in-person and remotely full-time. I am an empathetic, patient and enthusiastic tutor with experience in teaching English as a foreign language and and teaching students with Special Educational Needs. I also have a Level 2 qualification in Understanding Autism and Children and Young People's Mental Health.
In our first few sessions, I aim to get to know you better and understand your level of reading, writing, listening and speaking in English. I believe repetition is crucial when learning a language so we will often go over vocabulary until you are able to use it comfortably and correctly when speaking. However, I have fun methods to help you remember new words and phrases that don't involve you say or writing words over and over. I will design my lessons using what I know about you, such as your interests and hobbies, in order to make my lessons interesting and exciting for you. I incorporate music, photography, sport, film and art into my lessons as well as fun games and activities.
