I have an integrated master's degree in Mathematics and Computing and MSc in Computing Science (First Class with Distinction) at the University of Glasgow. Currently I work as a software developer for Component Sense.

Personally, I prefer dynamic, multi-media and interactive learning over walls of text. I always appreciate students who stop me to ask questions until they understand a concept. Another thing I encourage is a flipped experience, where I guide my students gently while they accomplish a task successfully on their own!

My courses are always unique and tailored specifically to meet the learner's needs. If you're weak in a certain area, we'll spend more time on it until you're comfortable.

Here's what I did for a former pupil:

1. They wanted to learn LaTeX to write their dissertation.
2. Specifically, they wanted to write it in Chinese.
3. I helped them set up the necessary software and taught them the basic controls and stuff.
4. The curriculum included only those aspects of LaTeX that were necessary.
5. I introduced a topic in class, we worked through some examples during the sessions.
6. I gave them homework for practice.
7. We did a recap next session, cleared doubts and repeated for remaining topics.
8. They became proficient in LaTeX through my guidance and practice!

I plan to adopt a similar approach for all my pupils and be flexible to accommodate any changing needs.
