As a trained teacher with Qualified Teacher Status in the UK, with a Cambridge Certificate in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (CELTA), I have offered private tuition in English, both as a foreign and first language to schoolchildren from year five to A-level of the British National Curriculum as well as university students, business people and professionals. I use innovative methods and individually-tailored approaches to achieve pleasing results like the ones below:

1) A university student from Saudi Arabia who, after 50 hours of tuition, felt so inspired with her progress that she was considering changing her major subject at university from Mathematics to English.
2) A schoolgirl from Japan who arrived in England at the age of nine. I started teaching her English from scratch with a one-month intensive course, followed by regular weekly 2-hour lessons for 4 years. As a result, not only did she do well in her studies towards GCSE at a regular English school. She also passed all the levels, including the highest one, in the EFL examinations available in Japan. Thus she was able to fulfil her dream of continuing her education at a prestigious Japanese school with English as a medium of instruction.
3) A medical consultant from the Czech Republic who needed help to prepare for her job interview and her performance at it secured her the appointment.
4) An English GCSE schoolgirl who felt encouraged to continue developing her talent in creative writing at tertiary level.
