Steve Smith

Hello. My name is Steve and I live in Coventry, England. I am a qualified TESOL teacher and I also have a Diploma.
I love building relationships and getting to know students and encouraging them. I have been a trainer for a number of years and also taught English in a number of settings in Hong Kong, Cambodia and the UK.
I have taught University students, children of different ages and professionals.
Having lived oversees for 19 years I have enjoyed meeting people from many countries: China, Malaysia, New Zealand, Australia, Vietnam and Cyprus.
I met my wonderful wife in Hong Kong and we were married in Seremban, Malaysia where I worked for a year. We have two sons and we all enjoy Asian cuisine.
In the first lesson I will find out where your level is and what you would like to learn.
The sessions are friendly, encouraging and you will grow in confidence.
Many students know a lot of information but might find it difficult sometimes to be able to express and talk. We can work on your pronunciation, grammar, or conversation.
So, quickly, with the right help, your English will improve.
I am open to teaching small groups of students – it can sometimes be more economical, more fun and can change the class dynamics. You can talk about your family, friends, your life, cuisine, Western culture or other interests.
