In my experience, mastering the fundamentals is the most crucial step for enabling students to develop their interesting projects efficiently. We will first dedicate a significant portion of the lesson to key programming components such as variables, operations, control flow, functions, classes, etc. Each lesson will consist of preparation materials for easier context, a recap of the last lesson, a discussion of the concepts, multiple short exercises or questions to reinforce the topic, and a more in-depth activity at the end where the solution will be taught on the spot. This structure ensures students come out of the lesson with practical experience every time. Consultation and catch-ups can be done asynchronously or through scheduled calls.

After the fundamentals have been broken down, we will be shifting to discussing best practices, common free applications and libraries, and an introduction to project management. This is time given for reflection so that students can see the bigger picture of how each component comes together and how to do programming that supports collaboration, testing, and efficiency.

Finally, the latter end of the lecture series will assign custom projects to students. At this point, I will be shifting to a consultancy style wherein they will report regularly on their progress and they can consult on this time. If a topic needs reinforcement or further explanation, I will provide it.

Classes will be held synchronously and regularly on any preferred online platform.
