Teaching Experience:
I have had over 19 years experience in teaching English as a Foreign Language. I taught in the Czech Republic for three years before returning to England. In England, I have taught English to students from Brazil, Bulgaria, China, France, Germany, Hungary, India, Italy, Nepal, Pakistan Peru, Poland, Romania, Russia, Rwanda, Spain, Turkey and Uganda. I am currently teaching students from Afghanistan, Czech Republic, Turkey and Ukraine.
I also teach Basic Literacy and Numeracy Skills to native and non native speakers of English.

Tutoring Approach:
I have the ability to see the unique strengths in each student, and I strive to use various learning methods to tutor students in developing their strengths while working on their challenges.
My aim is to help the leaner to achieve his or her goals whatever the need; be it for social or business reasons. I consider to myself to be both patient and adaptive.

If you are new to learning English, we can focus on basic vocabulary such as greetings, food and drink, and basic reading and pronunciation. If you already know some English, we can work on your confidence, your pronunciation, and on learning more complex vocabulary and conversational phrases.
