Stephen Marks

Hello ! My name is Stephen and I am an English Teacher. I have TEFL 120 online qualification and TEFL Business English certification. . I love to travel and I am also a yoga and meditation teacher.


Although I'm relatively new to teaching English I have had a lot of teaching experience . I've taught over 1000 hours of yoga classes , including online webinars and workshops. I’ve also been working in my current role for the last 18 months using zoom and teams for meetings . All in all I am very comfortable teaching and working online.


As an ex Lawyer I worked with large teams of people and know how to communicate and get my point across. I also know how to motivate my students and have fun at the same time. I like to encourage people to think for themselves . I have a speciality in Business English.

I am personable and easy to get along with and have been used to working with teams of people when I was in the corporate world. I feel comfortable speaking and communicating with new people and in front of larger groups. Having travelled widely and worked in different fields I am able to create a rapport with a wide range of people.

I have a passion for the English language and have written over 40 published articles in the Uk press.
