My most recent Maths teaching post at Multinational School in Bahrain coincided with the Covid pandemic so I was teaching online for over a year. This meant I learned the skills necessary to work as a Maths tutor.

I have been working as a Mathematics teacher and a Mathematics tutor for 20+ years across Key Stages 3, 4 and 5, raising the attainment of students and meeting students’ individual needs. I love sharing my sense of enthusiasm for my subject with my students and developing different methods to ensure the material is accessible to all.

I enjoy the challenge of teaching students academically but also helping them to thrive socially. As a team player, I have joined in school initiatives to build a better environment for students and staff alike.
