I'm an online maths tutor, with a PhD in Pure Mathematics. I know my stuff and I'm excited to help you know your stuff too! I have around 2 years experience teaching and tutoring maths in secondary schools, and I have an additional 4 years of assisting undergraduate students with their University-level maths - I've always been complimented on my ability to explain maths, and my friendliness and approachability.

If you take A-Level Maths and want some assistance (on ANY part, mechanics and statistics included), I'm well-prepared and chomping at the bit to help you improve your understanding and your grades! For now, I'm just starting with A-level, but in time I will add GCSE and A-level Further Maths to my repertoire, and will likely do some in-person tutoring in Birmingham in time.

What sessions with me will be like: I'll ask you what you want to go over (and that can be just question drills or some particular topic or anything else) and how thoroughly you want me to teach it. (Like it's your first time? Quick recap then questions? Just questions then go from there?) I will screen-share a writing app that I use so you can see me writing in real-time with my Apple pencil, and can also screen-share useful examples, text, and questions, or practice exam papers. I will also screen-share Desmos (which I recommend you play around with too!) if I think it will help to create a visual understanding of functions and the like. The only goal is to improve your understanding, enjoyment, and grades in maths, and we can do whatever it takes to hit that goal!
