It is highly gratifying when students have commenced lessons lacking confidence but then, after only a few weeks, feel much more certain of themselves with the skills I have helped them acquire.
I studied maths education at The University of East Anglia and have also completed two degrees as a part time student. Therfore I know full well what it's like fitting in a learning timetable amongst the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
I'd be more than happy to have an initial discussion with prospective students about how I can help you and give you an informal assessment to see where we must start from.
Over the last two years I have been teaching with the National Tutoring Programme - this has been an experience I have thoroughly enjoyed and it has continued to allow me to hone the craft of effective tutoring.
Besides tutoring full time for the last few years, I have also had extensive experience working in schools from primary to post 16.
Therefore I am fully conversant with the demands of the national curriculum and the requirements of the various syllabuses. At present I mainly teach AQA and Pearson Maths to both Foundation and Higher levels.
So, having read this, I look forward to speaking with you further to start devising a suitable programme for you.
