With over 5 years as a linguist, teacher, translator and research specialist for culture, language, and education, I have successfully served many clients and organizations in my home country, Venezuela, by translating documents, in text and audio, from English to Spanish and vice versa.
My teaching experience with almost all age groups has lead me to adapt to different tools and methods in order to provide a quality Spanish and/or English speaker that can handle more than just the average conversation.
I have come to find that the most effective method is a informal , easy going communicative, audio-verbal natural approach that resembles the method that develops in bilingual households, this focuses the attention on the everyday aspects of language use and it aims to place beginners in a variety of real-life situations, so that they can learn how to use their language skills to communicate in the real world.
I like to focus on fluency of communication rather than accuracy and lessons are more hands-on than theoretical, However i can definitely adapt to your specific needs.
