Biology is the study of living organisms, including plants, animals, and humans. By studying biology, we can gain a better understanding of the mechanisms of life, how different organisms function, and how they interact with one another.

I like to teach students by:
- Providing clear instructions, setting expectations, and establishing a schedule to help students stay on track and motivated.

- Providing opportunities for individualized feedback and support can help students feel more connected and engaged.

- Relating the material to current events, real-world applications, and students' interests can help keep them engaged and motivated to learn.

- Using quizzes or discussions to identify areas where students may be struggling and adjust my teaching approach accordingly.

I have over 5 years of science communication experience as a freelance science writer, specializing in biology and medicine. I am an exceptional communicator; able to translate complex topics into simple and powerful concepts that can be imbibed easily. During my years at university, I gained invaluable experience teaching third-year students evolutionary genetics and behavioral biology.

I organized and prepared laboratory practicals and classroom lectures, successfully engaging students and maintaining a safe and sanitary environment. I assisted lecturers in marking test papers and providing feedback to students. I served as the Education Lead for the Science Innovation Union, effectively managing research students to curate educational programs for academics and business leaders. I exhibited excellent interpersonal and team management skills to lead team meetings and provide feedback.
