I like to give lessons that are tailored to a child's learning format, whether that is that they are a visual learner or auditory learner. I will involve all mediums for lessons all whilst trying to make them very fun and engaging. I will carry out lessons online which means that I will be able to use a variety of different tactics to help understanding of work. My basic lesson outline would be going through the topic, working through some examples together and then overseeing some independent learning. I am happy to provide extra work and notes so that your child can refer back to information when needed.

I have tutored at a primary school where I worked one-to-one with a child and helped them with their classwork and understanding the lesson content. I have also taught a few classes of maths and creative writing. I have also worked for two families as a private tutor to help with a variety of subjects such as history, maths and language & literature. These experiences have really aided my knowledge of helping children understand and have given me a variety of tools to work with that I plan to use.

I understand that the school curriculum can be very demanding and aim to help your child with their maths along with the curriculum so that their maths skills can be helped in a way that flow seamlessly with their school work. I am also willing to have lessons that help with homework if that is what is needed.
