I am a professional artist and a graduate from Newcastle University in the UK. I have taught art to young people, undergraduates and graduates of art helping them to become self-sufficient and independent artists. Creativity is one of the most engaging learning techniques allowing students to develop confidence in their ideas and beliefs. I am passionate about all the processes used to make art and enjoy helping students gain insight into contemporary art. I have been teaching art for over 30 years. I love what I do and enjoy sharing my knowledge with others. My lessons are created with you in mind, they are skill-based, contextual and project-driven. I take your progress seriously and although my art classes are enjoyable they are designed to challenge you in a positive way. I have had students from all walks of life, who have achieved great results and grown in confidence.
