My lessons firstly involve getting to understand the areas in which the student has strengths and challenges, taking to the time to understand their particular learning style, as well as any goals or exams they are working towards, to tailor lessons to suit the needs of the student. The student can then choose to have lessons based on particular areas, which will be taught in line with exam speci...
My lessons firstly involve getting to understand the areas in which the student has strengths and challenges, taking to the time to understand their particular learning style, as well as any goals or exams they are working towards, to tailor lessons to suit the needs of the student. The student can then choose to have lessons based on particular areas, which will be taught in line with exam specifications, and/or choose to work on past paper questions to improve exam technique. Together, we will work through marking schemes, to understand what is required in top level answers. I make sure my lessons are interesting, utilising fun videos, drawings, conversations and analogies to help visualise difficult concepts.
