Hi everyone! So nice to meet you all :)

I'm Steph, a CELTA qualified native English speaking University of Cambridge ESL teacher (International House, London) currently living in Bali. I have over 3 years teaching experience to adults and children.

My area of expertise is IELTS speaking preparation, English for specific purposes (eg workplace or travel), vocabulary, grammar and speaking.

I have a wide range of online experience and volunteered for 3 months as an English Language teacher online to Ukrainian students who have been affected by the ongoing war.
I have also furthered my studies with a ‘young learners’ course aimed at teaching children 5-11.

My teaching style is conversational and ‘real world’ practice and always focusing on students needs, whatever they may be. No topic is ever off limits. I am a calm and focused individual, yet enthusiastic and always provide a safe and fun environment for my students to learn in. I have previously travelled all over South East Asia for an extended period and am very well travelled. Here I met many different individuals and was able to communicate effectively with them all. I always believe teaching is a two way experience, and I love learning from my students too! I am fully committed to bringing out the best in all my students and it would be a great pleasure to help you achieve this.

A highly self motivated science graduate from The University of Nottingham (BSc Hons), I possess excellent communication skills and love teaching as it enables me to meet so many interesting students and share my passion for learning and making a positive impact on their lives.

Before teaching, my career was in the healthcare industry (management), so I have had the experience in dealing with a wide range of people, effective communication and team work, and managing others.
