Hi I'm Stephanie. I have tutored for around 15 years now. This has mostly been music teaching but I have also helped students learn English as a Foreign language and basic Spanish.

If you're looking to improve in either of these subjects online lessons may be for you!

English language lessons will be mainly conversational based and we will focus on speaking with confidence and fluency.

If there are areas you particularly need assistance with we will focus on these.

I will aim to help you remember new words/phrases/concepts by repeating them in a variety of different contexts and encouraging you to use them straight away in your exercises and conversation.

For younger students we will include games into the lessons and I will make sure pronunciation is correct by slowly demonstrating and listening.

Through my teaching experience I have come to realise that all students are unique and learn at their own pace in their own way. I will endeavour to tailor lesson around this and make them individualised to you.

In Spanish lessons we will most probably follow a method book and as it will be beginner level this will enable you to review what we have covered in between lessons and practice in your own time. I often provide assignments and homework for students in between lessons so you continue making progress and becoming more comfortable with the language you are learning.

As a music teacher - sometimes I like to include songs in the language you are learning to help you retain new. Vocabulary. :-)
