I am an experienced teacher having worked in secondary schools and adult education. I work with my learners to break through barriers to help them achieve their goals. I believe that if you are stuck on something you haven’t been taught it correctly and that it is my job to find the way you learn be it through analogies or rhymes or wrote learning.

I am experienced at teaching KS3, KS4 and functional skills mathematics. I am able to target my provision to the level required of you, my learner, be you striving to a Grade 8 or 4. I can help you if are looking for support at the beginning of your secondary studies or if you are returning to Maths as an adult.

My lessons are tailored to what you need so there is no standard format. If you are looking at improving your general skills we can work on number work before applying it. If you want to go through homework or tests you have already completed we can work through those and practice similar questions until you are happy.

I am a friendly and approachable individual who instills a positive working relationship where there is no such thing as a stupid question or answer. We will work through everything together so you understand the steps to you need to succeed.
