I am an audit manager at PwC and I am a Chartered Accountant. I have been tutoring at the firm for the past 2 years and my lessons are aimed at students who struggle with accounting/auditing concepts. I make the subject matter easy to remember and enjoyable.

I have tutored high school student, university and now working associates seeking their ICAEW qualifications who are also working at PwC.

Accounting is only a daunting subject because most have not understood the basics of accounting. And since it is a principle based subject, if the foundation is not solid, this will result in someone not understanding the concepts which are layered above it and therefore making someone hate a subject that is otherwise very enjoyable.

I am available online, this is easiest as we can share screen and so can easily talk through problems on a spreadsheet and this make it easier to learn and avoid travel times to and from tutor sessions.

I have hand acronyms and alliterations to help remember some concepts, I like to practice questions as I believe that in accounting, practice really does make progress. By practicing more, one can get confidence of how to solve problems or at least you will be able to understand where your problem is and then we can work together to get these solutions.

I am available for quick chats outside of a schedule if this is necessary as I know somethings do come up and can't always wait for the formal tutor session.
