Hello! My name is Mrs. English and I am so excited to help you learn and grow! I have over ten years tutoring experience. I’m a certified substitute teacher and have an associates in the art of teaching. I also have experience as a student teacher. I’ve worked all over in the school setting from the PTO to serving lunches to creating lesson plans and teaching in the classroom. I love working with students of all ages and enjoy the challenges of helping each student with their individual and unique needs. I’m always ready and willing to adapt to my students as a fellow life long learner. I bring a fun and exciting dynamic to our learning experience. I especially love Language Arts as I believe reading is the foundation for all academic success. I’ve worked in just about every classroom setting. I’ve taught preschool to high school students. I find each learning level to have its own fun and enjoyable opportunities for learning and growing. I have experience in creating lesson plans, classroom management, and time management. I am very organized and love arts and crafts. I enjoy going the extra mile to make someone’s day. As a mom of four I have fourteen years of experience in childcare! I also homeschool my children so I’m always reading and searching out new ways to learn and see the world. I love to read, write, travel, and take photos.
