Sophie-Louise Kilbey

Hello,

I have been teaching within primary schools for nearly ten years; I am passionate about what I teach and ensure that all my students reach their full potential. I have recently had a baby and have returned to work part time so I am looking to gain more work, from home, to allow me to continue spending time with her.

I am approachable, calm and compassionate. I am flexible and believe myself to be fun and engaging. I really do love teaching and working with others - I believe this is clear when you get to know me and my methods.

My lessons will be based on PowerPoints with tasks and activities to complete. I will ensure that these are fun and tailored to your need. I will work with you to find what is best for you and adapt lessons to ensure we meet the progress we need to achieve.

I am an advocate for good mental health and will support you through your studies, academically and mentally. I see myself as a learning coach and can support you through any educational worries. I can help support you with the direction in which you’d like to head and help you find ways to get there.

English is my passion but I can support with all areas of the primary curriculum and would feel confident addressing Maths and English at a secondary level (up to y9).
