I have tutored for three and a half years, working with students from primary school to GCSE. I really enjoy helping my students to have the lightbulb moment and using a range of different materials and approaches to suit their individual needs.

Lessons are 1 hour long and will consist of interactive activities and exercises to ensure active learning and enjoyment! Speaking practice is vital for growing confidence and understanding of the language, so sections of the lesson ( and eventually all!) will be conducted in German to really immerse the student in the language. Where students are studying towards exams, past exam questions are key to learning a thorough exam technique so these will also be incorporated into every lesson.

From my experience tutoring I know that the most important thing is working at the student's individual pace, and finding the methods that work for them. I have worked with a range of students and used/created myself a range of different resources in order to aid the learning process and make it as enjoyable as possible.
