I have experience in a variety of different industries and roles. From engineering to sales, be a small business owner to working as a Engagement Mentor in a sixth form. I feel that experience makes me a great coach/mentor. I can talk with people from all walks of life around a variety of subjects. My experience working with and adhering to the national curriculum helps me to apply my knowledge appropriately to given subjects, ensuring we stay on task and work out problems together. I have experience delivering English based tuition, along with Art, business and sport too. I have a good working knowledge of engineering too and can even turn my hand to science based subjects. I love learning and I fully appreciate that not everyone feels the same way. I will work as hard as I can to come find the best method to help you learn. As Einstein said, “if you judge a fish on its ability to climb a tree, it will live its whole life believing that it is stupid”. Every one is a genius in my opinion, sometimes it’s the teaching that doesn’t work. I want to be a small part in your journey to success. The realisation when an idea ‘clicks’ for you and you fully understand a concept is why I do this. Helping you to further increase your knowledge, arming you with a tools to pass your exams, develop your learning and hopefully lead you on to a fun, successful career!
Sophie was fantastic helping me prepare for my A-Level business exam. I couldn’t have had better support. She explained topics to me in a way that my college tutors didn’t.
