I am just starting out as a tutor and I will be flexible to the student's needs. I only completed my own secondary school qualifications just over 10 years ago, so I can relate to the student and their experience. I know that some students often find their language lesson difficult, and they are mandatory for them, so I can be empathetic in my approach to this. I can reiterate what the child needs to know based on the work they have received from school, or be there more as a support to reassure them that their knowledge and approach is right. I can practise speaking, reading and writing. I can also provide advice on good listening material for them. I have experience of going to university in Spain, so I am well versed to do this. My preferred timing for tutoring sessions would be weekday evenings, as I have a full time day job, and have just changed jobs and will be moving to a language school. I live in Liverpool and would be willing to drive to you (Merseyside area), or do the lesson online. I have previously worked in a school as an exam invigilator, so I have experience in an exam preparation environment. I also worked down south in a language boarding school, so have plenty of experience working with children and young adults within an educational environment. I am passionate about languages, both learning and speaking, and please, if you have any questions, then be in touch.
