Sophie Casey Mullins

My lessons are tailored based on the individuals needs. Depending on what it is that you are looking to improve or struggling with I shall work to be a guide in your creative journey. My aim is to help creative students find their artistic voice and improve their technical skills. I believe we are all creative beings at heart and everyone has the potential to work with that creativity and nurture it into something special. Technical skills take time to develop and lots of practise. With my help I can offer you specific guidance based on your needs whether that be improving your understanding of human anatomy or helping you to work through creative blocks. As a student of art for many years I have worked tirelessly to improve my artistic abilities. As well as attaining a foundation diploma in art I have taught myself many different creative techniques, such lino printing, painting with gouache and more. I am a keen learner myself and it brings me so much joy to see other’s practising creative activities. My experience as a teaching assistant has lead me to understand how important teaching is in my life. I have worked both individually and with groups to help students with their creative projects. I am a great listener, empath and very understanding. I know what it is like to want to be great at making art and I know how frustrating it can be when you feel that your work doesn’t reflect the ideas your have in mind. My hope is to be a guide for you and aid you on your creative path and help your nurture your creativity.
