I have over 5 years of tutition experience from primary age to A-level both online and in person. I have a Master's degree in mechanical engineering so specialise in maths mechanics, but have experience tutoring A-level statistics, pure, and decision maths also.
I ensure my lessons are tailored to every students indivual needs, using games and activities to engage younger students and creating challenging problems for younger students. My lessons start with a small starter exercise to guage the student's prior knowledge on the main topic of the session before covering the main material. For GCSE and A-level students I work through past paper exam questions to get student's used to exam format and increase their confidence in answering these questions. I leave time at the end of each session to recap what has been covered and check what has been learnt, recap questions will be asked at the start of the next session to see what the student has remembered and what needs to be covered again. I hope my lessons not only ensure my student's reach their full potential but are enjoyable and give them greater confidence.
I can set homework for students on request and will be available via message or email throughout the week to reschedule lessons, request additional lessons or homework help. I also offer group sessions upon request, and am happy to encorporate other related subjects into my sessions such as physics.
