I use a workshop format for my lesson delivery, encouraging connection and interaction through reflective tasks, games and quizzes. Students will be required to complete tasks before and after lessons as independent study. This style has been successful in team meetings and training days I designed and delivered in all my leadership roles whilst working in the Early Years Education industry.
I will also include an exercise to promote well-being and self-care in my lessons and encourage students to seek community with each other. Lessons will include breaks and will be personalised to meet the needs of the individual students needs and abilities, celebrating inclusion and diversity. I maintain professionalism with empathy and an active listener and confident problem solver.
I am passionate about supporting others through learning and development to gain the best from themselves to drive positive outcomes in job satisfaction, productivity and professionalism. During my various leadership roles, I have specialised in change management, training, curriculum standardisation, negotiation skills, sales and interpersonal effectiveness, event planning and a multitude of soft skills training all transferable.
In my most recent role as Learning Coach I identified unique adaptions to delivery, contact and assessment methods were required for a learner with additional needs. I adjusted the level of support they received from myself, colleagues and liaised with mentor, scheduling more frequent visits, observations and coaching sessions, timetabled study time and re-organised workload and deadlines to be more realistic. The learners progress and motivation increased and their personal development and understanding of their needs was celebrated amongst all involved.
