I am a University student currently in my third year studying English. This gives me an advanced knowledge of the subject which i can use to help those I tutor. I currently also outside of university work as a playworker often organising activities for learning and helping with schoolwork. This helps to give me lots of experience with what works and what does not.

I can adapt my lessons based off the needs of the individual I work with. I can help with basic grammar and reading, exam prep having gone through 3 Advanced highers myself and basic school work to help advance knowledge and assist with whatever is required. I am also able to help keep those I work with on task when they may loose interest as can happen when trying to learn new things (especially if they are difficult). I am always incredibly patient. I do not believe anyone walks in to a job day one and is perfect at it so I do not expect this when it comes to education. We all take time to learn and do things in our own way and that's okay. Not knowing something is never a bad thing, it is simply something we can practise.

I am able to work either through online tuition or within the same city I am able to work face-to-face. I will work to make sure my lessons are interesting and engaging in order to try help those I work with to learn better.
