I am currently studying for a degree in English literature at the University of Exeter. I have lots of experience working with young people, having worked at summer camps and as a classroom assistant at a primary school. I also do private and small group coaching for students from year 7 to year 10. These students often come from disadvantaged backgrounds, such as pupil premium. I am DBS checked and have received extensive safeguarding training and would be especially willing to work with students with extra educational needs (due to learning disabilities or non-native speakers.) After I finish my degree in English literature it is my dream to become an English teacher at a secondary school. Teaching is my passion and my main aim in my lessons is to develop fun and inspirational ways to teach my students so that they foster a love for the subject.
