Hello, there!
My lessons include speaking, listening, reading and writing.
For the beginner, we'll start with sound recognition, followed by letter name and blending of the letter (s) to read words.
I always read a story so we'll start with vocabulary where we learn about the new words of the day and use them in sentences.
Next, Will be before reading activities like reading the title, looking at the picture and coming up with a prediction. I'll read the story, read it with the students and let them read by themselves.
Lastly, I'll ask comprehension questions , that'll have answers in the story or thinking questions that the students will have to come up with relatable answers.
I'll finish by giving them relevant homework .
In a week of five lessons, I'll introduce and teach grammar twice and read a teacher read aloud story.
