As well as providing as much support, information and teaching you the best techniques to get those top grades, I aim to provide some advice on handling the stress. But most importantly, I aim to create a friendly, warm learning environment and help you achieve your goals!
I understand that everyone learns in their own way and at their own speed. As such I am very patient and lessons will be adapted to the specific needs and anxieties of the student - whether that be grammar, language and creative writing or preparing high-quality answers on your literature papers or learning the best quotes, analysis and context for your poetry anthology :)
I absolutely loved learning English at school, both in those GCSE and A level years and have much experience tutoring inside and outside of school.
I believe we could be a perfect match if you hope to gain some knowledge in any or all of these topics;
- Romeo and Juliet
- A Christmas Carol
- An Inspector Calls
- Poetry anthology - conflict and power
- A Streetcar named Desire
- Atonement
- Carol Ann Duffy 'Mean Time'
- Philip Larkin 'The Whitsun Weddings'
