I am open to adapting my lessons to best fit different students, however my main plan will be to create an engaging environment where I will explain relevant history, using primary and secondary sources. After explaining the relevant information, I will create quizzes on the information learnt and provide further reading on the subject. We can also debate events and motives of historical figures and events. If desired, I can also set practice essays. My specialist topic is ancient history, having written my university dissertation on the role of freed slaves in the Roman economy, while receiving my highest grade in an essay on Greek mythology. However, I do have a good knowledge of other eras of history, having studied history for most of my life. As a result of this, I am more than capable of learning about periods of history that I know less about in order to better teach them.
