Hi there! My name is Sol Rodino and I am from Buenos Aires, Argentina. On December 2023 I graduated college with a bilingual degree in Global Communications, which is a course of studies focused on public relations and the making of communication campaigns. However, ever since 2021, I have been tutoring students of all ages in a variety of subjects, mostly English as a second language. I have a Certificate of Proficiency in English from Cambridge University and my whole education has been bilingual, so I am very comfortable and used to speaking in both English and Spanish. I love how both languages can offer different ways to express oneself. I also love sharing what I am passionate about, which is why teaching brings me so much joy. As for my teaching style, I always strive for my students to take things easy and enjoy the process. I first start explaining the grammar theory with a variety of examples and their Spanish counterparts. Then, I move on to online exercises. After that, I revise with the student and analyse where and why they are having difficulties. The flow of the class is also very flexible to the student and what works better for them. My favorite part about teaching is when I can see a student has successfully grasped the contents of a lesson and leaves the class with new knowledge.

En diciembre de 2023 me gradué de la universidad con un título bilingüe en Comunicación Global, que es un curso de estudios enfocado en relaciones públicas y la realización de campañas de comunicación. Sin embargo, desde 2021, he dado clases particulares a estudiantes de todas las edades en una variedad de materias, principalmente inglés como segundo idioma. Tengo un Certificate of Proficiency in English de la Universidad de Cambridge y toda mi educación ha sido bilingüe, por lo que me siento igual de cómoda hablando ingles que español. Me encanta cómo ambos idiomas pueden ofrecer distintas formas de expresarse. También me encanta compartir lo que me apasiona, por eso la enseñanza me trae tanta alegría. En cuanto al estilo de mis clases, siempre busco que mis alumnos se tomen las cosas con calma y disfruten del proceso. Primero empiezo explicando la teoría gramatical con una variedad de ejemplos y sus homólogos en español. Luego, procedemos a practicar lo aprendido con ejercicios online. Después de eso, reviso con el alumno y analizo dónde y por qué tiene dificultades. El flujo de la clase también es muy flexible y depende de las necesidades del alumno y lo que funcione mejor para él. Mi parte favorita de enseñar es cuando puedo ver que el alumno entendió con éxito el contenido de la lección y sale de la clase con nuevos conocimientos.
