I am an Interior Designer from India. And I have come to study in the UK about MA Creative Cultures. I am a first class honors graduate (2021) from Amity University, India in Bachelors of Intrior Architecture Designing and have had significant experience in peer teaching, the extent of it is I worked on a couple of personal research papers and published them on my YouTube channel for other design students to study and learn from.
I did a couple of more voluntary peer teaching in my current MA course classes as well and that gave me a lot of confidence to become a teacher in the creative field. I take a Student-Centered Approach to teaching as I know that the technical facts are a little bit daunting especially for neuro-divergent students.
I make the curriculum in 3 structures mainly, 1) The problem 2)The consequences of problem 3) Brainstorming the solution of problem. As a design student we have always been taught the importance of research and then application of research in a creative manner and I want to help my students do that too in a very interactive and brain stimulating process. I have previously worked with a film maker and an industrial designer the YouTube channel I was previously talking about.
I think the methodology of problem solving is a very important habit to develop and I think I can help my students with that.I will share the in for you to check out my style of teaching and interacting.
