I like to use a mixture of learning, recall and revision in lessons, including in the form of quizzes and always ending on a game! Lessons can be changed depending on your child's needs/preferences, and can be much more revision focused nearer exams. I have a GCSE and A Level in geography with top grades (9 and A*) so am well versed with exam technique and how to translate knowledge learnt in the classroom into a pressured situation like an exam question.
I have lots of experience tutoring, and interacting with children of all ages, from Primary to Secondary school, so am happy working with children/young adults of any ages, and creating lesson plans for any age.
I have long had a love of the subject, and my interest in the human side of geography led me to go on to study Politics at university, which I just graduated with First Class Honours in. I have existing knowledge of not only many different areas of geography but of exam techniques and how to approach answering different questions. One of the reasons I always loved geography was the enthusiasm of the teachers, something I would love to continue and provide to a child.
I would love to be your child's tutor, please drop me a message and we can discuss more! Looking forward to hearing from you!
