I have previously tutored two of my younger family members for their 11 Plus exams, and both passed with flying colours. My lessons will be either in person if necessary or online using google meets. I work using a friendly dynamic where the children feel open to ask any questions about the work without feeling judged or embarrassed, and likewise I can plan short educational games to keep their attention and excitement for learning. In my lessons we will go through past paper questions and I will let the student attempt it on their own, if they are unsure I will help them by carefully explaining how to answer the question and then giving more similar questions to solidify their knowledge. I would teach them Maths, English, Verbal reasoning and Non Verbal reasoning, all of which are necessary for the 11 Plus exams. I am 17 years old, and have completed by GCSE exams in a great grammar school, so i understand the importance of the 11+ exams in a child's future education, and will take my role as a tutor very seriously as a result. I am able to work any day a week, but on most weekdays am only available after 5pm (Wednesday and Friday I am available after 4pm), and on Saturday and Sunday i am available after 1pm. I also have experience baby sitting and am completely comfortable with children any age, so we would get along well which is vital for good and easy learning.
