I've been teaching Italian language since 4 years, and I've been a "second language student" myself. I have worked with English, French, Spanish and Arabic speakers students, from 12 to +50 y.o.
This experience provided me a deeper understanding of how learning mechanisms differentiate depending (also) on the first language of my students, for which I like sharing some tips and tricks that can facilitate and simplify the learning process.
At the beginner level I usually prefer, as a first step at least, to privilege the achievement of general communication abilities rather than a perfectly correct use of grammar and syntax.
I use an individualised teaching method that can semplify the learning process according to the age and goal of the students. In order to do it, I use to have a previous conversation with the potential students to learn about their linguistic background, their interests, the purpose and the goals they want to achieve.
Whatever is your focus we can discuss the program together to make it more suitable for your purposes, eather it is commercial, touristic, ecc.

I also like to provide a general understanding of Italian culture, according to the interests and preferences of the students. Because of it, I use to present cities, songs, writers, history, foods, festivities, arts, traditions and tales as tools of learning.

I love food and eating, if you share this passion with me you're in the right place! I would always be ready for cooking class and recipes sharing
