Hello there!

I am a second-year medical student at Anglia Ruskin University. Before this, I completed my BSc Medical Biochemistry and MSc Chronic Disease and Immunity at the University of Leicester. I have been tutoring since 2021 and thoroughly enjoy it. I feel privileged to have taught 1000+ lessons to students and hope to continue making a difference by helping students achieve their target grades and go on to study them at A level or even university. Thus, I hope I can do this for you and your child.
My skills are primarily in KS3 and GCSE English, Maths and Science subjects. My passion for these subjects, alongside my high grades, reflects through my teaching by providing interactive, memorable and fun lessons. The excitement for these subjects provides a student-centred approach to help students feel more confident and achieve their grades.

I understand how important consistency and dependability are, therefore, I hope to implement this as a tutor every week and even through the summer term exam periods. I would be delighted to share my experience to educate the younger generation with my small tips and tricks, on anything they may be finding difficult (I most likely did too! And making them fall in love with English/Maths/Science as much as I have :)

I’m happy to help and be a guide to students in Year 12/13 with their UCAS application, personal statement and interview preparation.

Please feel free to message me with any questions!

In our first meeting, I tend to grasp the students aims in terms of grades and expectations of me during our lessons. I will do my best to make the lessons as interesting and memorable to ensure the student remains motivated and comfortable to ask questions at any time throughout the 55 minutes. In addition, I structure my lessons by focusing on the difficult topics by going through a checklist or begin with an overview of the previous lessons and test their knowledge with a practice question or going through questions/topics the student might be working through in school. Typically, the lesson will end with more practice questions to ensure they understand and if they require more practice/confidence I will provide questions for them to complete in their own time before the next lesson.

I understand this might not work for everyone therefore, I’m happy to adapt my lesson structure to the requirements of the student.

My aim is to deliver lessons of the highest quality which enables the student to achieve their goals. I enjoy spending time preparing lessons ahead of time and personalising the lesson to the student. With 3 years of tutoring experience under my belt, I have developed a comprehensive set of knowledge and skills to teach a range of exam board and suitable exam technique.

I have had the pleasure of working alongside Sneha, and I can confidently say that her support for students in all science and maths-based subjects is exceptional. I've witnessed her ability to quickly assess each student's needs and design a tailored approach that boosts both their understanding and performance. Sneha is highly professional, analytical, and always focused on helping students achieve their best results. She has a remarkable talent for building confidence and creating a positive learning environment. Over the course of working with multiple students, I’ve seen several make significant progress, improving from grade 6/7s to 9s in their GCSEs. This speaks volumes about Sneha's effectiveness and dedication. She's an outstanding tutor, and I would highly recommend her to anyone seeking high-quality support in science and maths.
