With over 15 years of guitar playing and jamming alongside with local musicians and friends, I will offer you a really fun way to learn the guitar at a beginner to an intermediate phase.

I was self-taught and learned the basics the hardest way possible, never realizing how much more fun it could have been if I focused on learning my favorite songs. My way of teaching is just that! Learning the main part of a song itself is a lesson of technique, theory, and feel. My lessons will consist of:
1) Basic introduction to the guitar anatomy and function
2) Learn how to pick your first notes!
3) Learn the chords of most famous popular songs, and lets turn that to a song!
4) Learn the intermediate techniques of bending, picking, and sliding

For the more intermediate players, I will offer to teach on how you can be create with playing various scales (minor and major pentatonic and diatonic scales) to vary your song writing.

My genres of interest are rock, heavy metal, and blues
