I am a student in High school with a passion for spreading my love of learning. I am advanced in math and can teach it at a high level. Teaching in a way that makes concepts seem easy is one of my specialties. Since I am in High school myself, I can teach these concepts in a way that anyone can understand. Depending on the student, I can bend my format to a way that the student most benefits from. With the help of my math skills, I will not only focus on teaching the concepts to the students but make them remember them. I will focus on explaining the reason why every concept works so that the student will have an easy time later in their journey. Using students' curriculum, I will be able to help them solve problems faster, ace their tests, and be successful in later math levels.

Classes will often have structures entirely determined by the student, allowing them to learn in a way that works for them. This will be beneficial since students often don't pay attention if they feel like the lesson isn't under their control; my lessons will keep the student constantly engaged.

Being a tutor at my school has given me experiences that will certainly benefit students. I have learned that the most important things in tutoring are keeping the student engaged, calibrating the speed of the lesson based on the student's performance, and helping the student get caught up with the school curriculum before going above and beyond.
